The Malibu Triathlon is an iconic event in one of the most beautiful locations in the world, bringing together athletes, celebrities, and Fortune 500 Corporations, for one common goal - to raise awareness and provide key funds for Pediatric Cancer Research at CHLA.
Super League Triathlon acquired the Malibu Triathlon, an event that at the time had been running for 30+ years, in 2019. The branding had not been updated for a long time and had started to look outdated. As part of the acquisition, I was tasked with creating a brand-new identity for the property, starting with the logo and full development of the social media presence, paid media assets, motion graphics, physical event assets, outdoor media, and print media.
